An Unknown Error Occured.. Problems again with Azure SQL

Powerapps is really struggling again with random "An Error Occurred on the server".

Anyone else having problems? The app was working perfectly a few days ago, then it started to slow down and now it randomly giving the "An Unknown Error Occured". 

This is happening far too often now!!!

Could you please share more details about the error message within your app?

Please take a try to re-create a new connection from your app to the Azure SQL table, then run your app again, check if the issue is solved.

In addition, please also take a try to turn off/disable the "Explicit column selection" option and "Delayed load" option within Advanced settings of App settings, then check if the issue is solved.

If the issue still exists, please take a try to re-create your app, check if the issue still exists.

Hi Kris,

I have turn all settings in advanced settings now and check a few things in my app. I have republished it. I will update you on how it’s holding up soon.

I have already shared my session if and screenshots with Microsoft support.

Hi Kris,

No joy with the errors, still getting the same random errors. I have reconnected the data sources, turned all experimental features off.

App works in preview mode in studio and then when I publish the app works for an hour or so then the errors start again. 

Connection is to SQL database. Had these issues before and never had an explanation of why this keeps happening. 

I can send session ID if needed.

and reinstalled it. it was working fine for few entries but when i went offline and came back online. its not refreshing my databse gallery. I even tried adding a refresh button but keeps saying "An unknown error occured".

Hi,

I work on the Product Group for PowerApps. Could you please provide a session Id for when this specific error occurs? If you go into the left panel of the home page, there should be a panel that says "Session Id". This will allow us to further investigate this issue.

It doesn't look like the session you provided encountered the "unknown error occurred" issue. Could you try sending a new session Id?

Hi Amy,

I am in contact with MINDTREE and this issue still hasn’t been resolved. The support team at mindtree have said they have reached out to the product team, not sure if that is the same team you are in, and the last contact I had was 2 days ago, see their answer below...
I don’t have a session Id to hand at moment but it is logged in the ticket below.

This is a known issue that has been recently fixed.
The fix is deployed in Preview starting (‪11/12‬) and will start deployment to Production by ‪Monday 11/19‬
We will let you know once we hear from them. Will keep you posted.

So is this actually fix yet or not and will it be fixed on 11/19/2018.

They have had this ticket now for over a week.

This is far too slow and my users are really angry now.

Could we please have a proper explanation this time on why this keeps happening?
I’m starting to think think Microsoft don’t want us to use SQL databases with powerapps!
