Hi everyone! Struggling to assign a picture (4 of them uploaded to Media) for each record:

How do I assign one picture in Image 1 for a given record - Model column in a Sharepoint Listi shown in a label called Subtitle 2?

Try:

LookUp(PicCollection,Line1=Trim(ThisItem.Model),Image)

Follow the post I gave earlier:

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Power-Apps/Display-a-picture-based-on-field-value/m-p/5...

First import your Pictures into the App (Ensure the pictures have same name a you have in the collection below.

Clear a Collection OnStart of the App:

ClearCollect(PicCollection,
{Line1:"Car", Image: Car},
{Line1:"Dog", Image: Dog},
{Line1:"Cat", Image: Cat},
{Line1:"Goat", Image: Goat})

In your Gallery:
LookUp(PicCollection,Line1=ThisItem.YourColumnSameName,Image)

Do I add LookUp(PicCollection,Line1=ThisItem.YourColumnSameName,Image) into the Gallery1 or into the Image1 label?

The formula LookUp(PicCollection,Line1=ThisItem.YourColumnSameName,Image)

should be on the Image inside the GALLERY, not the Gallery items.

Your own datasource (One containing the Model and Other columns) should be on the Gallery

Got it! And yet, I must be doing something else wrong.

Here is the On Start ClearCollect:

Here I moved the LookUp to the Image:

2.PNG

The Model is in Subtitle3 (datasource column):

Check the Collection if the names are really stored there (File....Collection...PicCollection)

I ask because see some of the lines are highlighted red in the clearCollect.

You can remove the first 2 lines (with red) and see how it works

No, they are not stored in Collection.

I suggested you remove the first two rows for testing purposes. what was the result

It highlighted the rest of the lines, as they are not in Collection. Does one have to create a Collection beforehand? Can I not pick up an image file from Media? It works for one picture/record.

You need a collection, can you give/Paste a text copy of the current formulas.
