Disable Item after pressing it

Hello

I have a badge item in my gallery, to show new entries of my sharepoint list.

For this i have created a tab in my list, called "statusnew" and only one option to choose: "new".

Here my badge conditions:

OnStart: set(varIndicator;true)

OnSelect: set(varIndicator;false)

Visible: !IsBlank(ThisItem.statusnew.Value)&&varIndicator

Now i have the problem, that all of the new badges hidden by pressing one of them.

And how to save the hidden badges when i restart my app?

If I am understanding you right you are using a button in the gallery to change the status from something like 'new' to 'in progress' or 'read'. If you want to do that and have it remain between app sessions I would use a status column on the sharepoint list and update that with the patch function when the button is picked and I would decide the visibility of this button / label based on the status of that item. Does this sound like what you are trying to achieve?

I did something similar in a test app that i connected to a sharepoint list called 'DummyList' and i had a text column on the list called CurrentStatus.

Here are some steps I used to do it if it is helpful:

First:

Insert a gallery: In the "Insert" tab, click on "Gallery" and choose a gallery layout (e.g., "Vertical"). Resize and position the gallery as needed.

Set the gallery's data source: Select the gallery and, in the "Properties" tab, set the "Items" property to "DummyList." This will display the items from the SharePoint list in the gallery.

Then:

Add a button to the gallery: With the gallery selected, click on the "Insert" tab, then click on "Button." A button will be added to the gallery's template.

Set the button's visibility: Select the button, and in the "Properties" tab, set the "Visible" property to the following formula:

ThisItem.CurrentStatus = "New"

Replace "CurrentStatus" with the actual name of the status column in your SharePoint list. This formula ensures that the button is only visible when the CurrentStatus of the item is "New."

Finally

Set the button's OnSelect action: Select the button, and in the "Properties" tab, set the "OnSelect" property to the following formula:

Patch(DummyList, ThisItem, {CurrentStatus: "Existing"})

Again for this bit replace "CurrentStatus" with the actual name of the status column in your SharePoint list. This formula updates the item's CurrentStatus to "Existing" when the button is clicked.

Maybe its easier to update the statusnew tab from "new" to "old" after clicking a button. What is the OnSelect Value of the button to do this?

If your status columns is a string type like mine was for my test you can just change the options:

OnSelect for the button would be this
Patch(DummyList, ThisItem, {CurrentStatus: "old"})

Visible would be this:

ThisItem.CurrentStatus = "new"

don't forget that it is case sensitive and make sure to rename the list and column to be the same as the list and column you used
