Dynamically add content in PowerApp

Hi,

I want to create feedback app in PowerApp. I have "Questions" list in sharepoint

Title	IsActive
Question 2	Yes
Question 3	No
Question 4	No
Question 5	Yes

Now I want to display only questions which are of type "IsActive"="Yes". 

Which control I have to use for one question on screen and on next button next question will be display. 

I didn't found any thing related my requirement. Can some body help me!

Hint: In sort I want to create application which takes feedback from user (one question on one screen) and one next button next question will display. Each question have Rate control (start) and save all the data into seperate list.

Hi, this is what I would do:

1) Add an index column to SP list of questions (i.e. an integer), call this QuestionNumber

2) Use a context variable in the PowerApps screen called CurrentQuestion, that will initially be set (when navigating to the screen for the first time) to something like this via an UpdateContext statement

First(Sort(Filter(MySPquestionList, IsActive), QuestionNumber, Ascending)).QuestionNumber

3) Use the context variable to display the correct question text and to Patch the response to the responses list

4) When the next question button is pressed (i.e. as its OnSelect property) you can use something like:

UpdateContext({CurrentQuestion: First(Sort(Filter(MySPquestionList, IsActive, QuestionNumber>CurrentQuestion), QuestionNumber, Ascending)).QuestionNumber

Following steps I did in my app:

1. Added new column named as "QuestionNumber" of type Number.

2. Added "QuestionNumber" column in index of list.

3. On first screen of app, in OnVisible event I have written following code:

UpdateContext( { CurrentQuestion: First(Sort(Filter(Questions, IsActive), QuestionNumber, Ascending)).QuestionNumber } )

4. In BrowseGallery, in Items event I have written following code:

FirstN(Questions,1)

5. I have added on button and written following code:

UpdateContext({CurrentQuestion: First(Sort(Filter(Questions, IsActive, QuestionNumber>CurrentQuestion), QuestionNumber, Ascending)).QuestionNumber })

Note: It give me suggestion of "Part of this formula cannot be evaluated remotely due to service limitations. Highlighted operation is not supported by column 'QuestionNumber'."

Please correct me if I did something wrong.

Step 4, the Items property should probably be:

Filter(Questions, QuestionNumber = CurrentQuestion)

Step 5,

There appear to be two separate issues:

A) Part of this formula cannot be evaluated remotely due to service limitations

This just means that delegation will not work, but since I assume that your list will have less than 500 questions, then you don't care

B) Highlighted operation is not supported by column 'QuestionNumber'

The problem may be that the OnVisible event of the first screen sometimes happens before the app has time to connect to the data source.  This may mean that CurrentQuestion could be blank to start with. Could you place a text box on the screen with Text property CurrentQuestion and see what it displays?

Alternatively see what happens if you use this for the button code:

UpdateContext({CurrentQuestion: First(Sort(Filter(Questions, IsActive, QuestionNumber>3), QuestionNumber, Ascending)).QuestionNumber })

Yes, you are right. I have changed code of 4th step. Now it is working perfectly. Thank you so much.

Need your one more help, How can I stop the loop. It is going on continuesly, I want to stop it to repeat. Is there any way to stop it?

By writing following code in button click. it is changing the item one by one but I want to stop it when last item comes:

OK, then for example set the Disabled property of the button to:

Max(Filter(Questions, IsActive), QuestionNumber) = CurrentQuestion
