I'm trying to embed my Power App in Teams sidepannel (a chat area in a meeting). I checked out this video, however it didn't work out.
Has anyone ever encountered such a thing?
Hey @Smarty_
can you please describe a bit more about when and what is not working? Have you uploaded the app to the Teams app catalog? Can you add the app to your meeting? Is there an error message showing?
@MarvinBangert thanks for your answer!
I've uploaded my app to the Teams (I can use it in Teams). I've checked my app in VS Code for the presence of the parameters specified in the documentation in the manifest. However, I can't add my app to meetings (it can't be searched).
Hey @Smarty_
OK, so I understand that you can upload the app to your Teams and use it in teams but it does not show when you want to add it to the meeting tab. Can you please when clicking on "Apps" in the upper left corner of your teams client and check if you can find your app in there (maybe there is also an area like "Created for your organization" under the search bar, if not please contact your Teams Administrator and ask, if your organization maybe does not allow to upload apps, but only install them for yourself. I tested it in two different tenants, in one I am allowed to add apps to my organization and the app appears immediatly after adding the parameters from the documentation you send, in the other tenant I am not allowed to add and doing the same steps did not work.
Hope this helps you
Best regards
Marvin
