Entered data is not coming if i coming app again

Hi All, I have modified the Budget tracker based on my requirement and entered few inputs in New Budget Screen and Add Expenses Screen and all the data are saved in the data excel available in OneDrive successfully and listing fine in apps but if i closed the app and again open it then none of the data is coming in the app eventhough the data is available in the data excel file.

Can you please help?

It is hard to say what is wrong with it. I think you are displaying collection in your gallery. It refresh the collection when something is changed in your datasource but you just simply forgot to save the change in the collection. So when you come back the collection get back to last saved status

I have reuse the same Budget tracker code in my app and the data is saved properly in datasource untill my app is open. If i closed and reopen the app the same data is not fetched from datasoure and show it in app but the data is available in the datasource

I have used two forms to save the data in datasoure as below

Form 1

If((!IsBlank(DataCardValue3.Text)), Collect(BudgetsCollect,{BudgetId: Value(CountRows(BudgetsCollect) + 1), UserName: DataCardValue3.Text}));
SubmitForm(FormNewBudget);Back()

Form 2

Using Gallery i am displaying the data as below in two diferent screens. Please let me know if you need any more details

If i open the app again then it is consider as new one without data

1) BudgetsCollect

2) Filter(ExpensesCollect,BudgetId=Gallery1.Selected.BudgetId)

Once again it is hard to find a mistake like this so I can only guess here. 

If you would go on your very first screen in OnStart or OnVisible property then I'm sure you would find a code

LoadData(BudgetCollect,"something"); LoadData(ExpensesCollect,"something")

That would tell you that the collection is being loaded from your device (not from your excel datasource) when app is open

From your code

1) BudgetsCollect

2) Filter(ExpensesCollect,BudgetId=Gallery1.Selected.BudgetId)

it looks like that you are displaying those collection in the gallery. If you would go to View->Data sources then I'm sure your excel datasources are called differently. I bet their names are Budgets and Expenses

When you changing your excel datasorce (obviously you are using forms and this is exactly why I don't recommend them to use them) from your code you first add row into your device collection 

...Collect(BudgetsCollect,{BudgetId: Value(CountRows(BudgetsCollect) + 1), UserName: DataCardValue3.Text}).... 

and then submit the changes into your excel datasource

...SubmitForm(FormNewBudget)...

So now your changes are collected in your device datasource but not yet saved. This is why you can see the changes but not when you reopen the app

Now you got few option how to fix that and it all depends what are your intention with the app.

1/ Option - If you are using the app on only one device by single user

Save the collection on your device after each change

SaveData(BudgetCollect,"savedname what you have in your load function here");

2/ Option- Use app on multiple devices (increase time in loading app)

Replace LoadData on your first screen with

ClearCollect(BudgetsCollect, Budgets); ClearCollect(ExpensesCollect,Expenses)

3/ Option - Use app on multiple devices (increase time with filtering and submitting changes)

Get rid of all collection by removing all Collect function and change all datasources linked with your gallery with excel datasource name
