Hello,
I have a data table which is populating data based on a connection to Azure SQL database. I tried to Export this by adding the Export control but there is an error like the attached file. I want users be able to export this report.
Any idea if this is possible at all or I am doing something wrong?
The import/export functionality is not supported in Internet Explorer. Try Edge or Chrome, it should work.
@FilipKI have tried that in Firefpx, chrome and IE. None of them worked, just in Chrom the error is different:
Cannot read Property 'Document' of null
As Data I am using another DataTable which is getting data from SQL
Hi @CWesener I have tried FireFox, Chrome and IE. None of the worked. My datatable is populating data and the connection seems fine. I just dont know if the Export is really working for datatables or not. Or if there is any other option to export Datatables contents to Excel.
Adding @jovan to see if there is a known limitation.
Export is currently not supported in web player. We are looking into changing that.
Hi @szadegan,
I have made a test within a published app, Currently, Export control functionality is not supported within IE, Edge and Chrome browser. The error message as below:
As an alternative solution, you could consider take a try to install PowerApps Studio for Desktop within your PC (download from Microsoft Store), and then run your app using it.
Best regards,
Kris
Thanks @v-xida-msft for the ffort, but I want a user to be able to use the app easily. Maybe I try to make it work using Flow but I am not sure if it will work or not.
Hi @jovan Happy to hear that and look froward for it. Beside all features in Powerapps there are some limitations which dissapointed me everytime I wanted to use it.
