How to build tabs on Canvas app to show different data on gallery

Hi,

I would be grateful, if someone can help me to find the way to configure this. Want to use functionality on Canvas app. Pls refer the attachment.

'Once click on Button1 it should load the respective data.

Pls refer the attachment (screenshot):

Once clicked on 'Button1' it should show data against respective Button name. 

The same is applicable to Button 2.

Names of Button1 & Button 2 are listed on SharePoint list. All data showing on the tab are also coming from SharePoint.

Could you please share a bit more about the data structure of your SP List?

Do you add a column in your SP List to store these Button Text within your app?

I assume that you added a Text type column in your SP List to store these Button Text within your app, you want to filter your Gallery records based on the corresponding button tab you pressed, is that true?

I have made a test on my side, please consider take a try with the following workaround:

Set the OnSelect property of the Button1 (called "In-Call effectiveness") to following:

Set(ButtonText, "In-Call effectiveness")

Set the OnSelect property of the Button2 (called "Selling") to following:

Set(ButtonText, "Selling")

Set the Items property of the Gallery to following:

Filter(
       'Your SP List',
        If(
            IsBlank(ButtonText),
            true,
            FilteredColumn = ButtonText
        )
)

Note: The FilteredColumn represents the Text type column to store the Button Text values within your canvas app. On your side, you should replace it with actual column name from your SP List

If you use Choice type column to store these Button Text values within your canvas app, please modify above Filter formula as below:

Filter(
       'Your SP List',
        If(
            IsBlank(ButtonText),
            true,
            FilteredColumn.Value = ButtonText
        )
)

You could also consider add a "Reset" button in your canvas app, set the OnSelect property to following:

Set(ButtonText, Blank())

when you press this button, your Gallery would show all records from your SP List again.

Thank you for your response. Attached the screenshot. 

I want to fetch values from sharepoint list for two sections and also to save values from text box for 2 sections. 

For column: Descriptor & Minimum requirement, want to fetch values from the existing sharepoint list. And also want to save some text through the text boxes: Pass Evidence & Feed back.

Could you please suggest with the code how to do it.

For your first question, if you want to retrieve the Descriptor & Minimum requirement values from the existing SP List, I think the LookUp function could achieve your needs.

If the Descriptor & Minimum requirement values are displayed in a Gallery in your canvas app, and the Descriptor & Minimum requirement field want to retrieve values from same SP List data source which your Gallery connects to, please set the Text property of the Descriptor Label to following:

LookUp('SP List', ID = ThisItem.ID, Descriptor)

set the Text property of the Minimum requirement Label to following:

LookUp('SP List', ID = ThisItem.ID, 'Minimum requirement')

For your second question, if you want to save  Pass Evidence & Feed back Text Input box values back to your SP List, I think the Patch function could achieve your needs. You could consider add a "Save" icon inside the Gallery, set the OnSelect property to following:

Patch(
      'Your SP List',
      LookUp('Your SP List', ID = ThisItem.ID),
      {
        'Pass Evidence': PassEvidenceTextBox.Text,
         Feedback: FeedbackTextBox.Text
      }
)

Please take a try with above solution, then check if the issue is solved.
