How to format text input datacard to decimal and add euro as defaults

Hi All

Im trying to use the formula to show the textinput value of my data as something like this  " 12.33€ "

I tried to use the following formula on the different property but does not work

on Default:

Text(Value(Parent.Default),"[$-en-US]#.0")
also same i tried to change for format property but does not work for me.

i also tired this on default and Format property
Text(5.678,"#.#")

But nothing seems to be working for me.

is there anything im doing wrong?

I want to show the results after the persons as something like this below, where the number is automatically converted into two decimals adding zeros if no values is added.

Hi@Tapesh,

Based on the issue that you mentioned, do you want to format the TextInput when typing within?

I think a Variable could achieve your needs.

I have a test on my side, please take a try as below.

Set the OnChange property of the TextInput control as below:

Set(
    var3,
    Text(
        Value(
            DataCardValue3.Text,
            "en-US"
        ),
        "[$-en-US]#.00"
    ) & " €"
)

Set the Default property of the TextInput control as below:

If(!IsBlank(var3),var3,"")// In case, please indentify the if the var3 is blank

Note: DataCardValue3 represents the TextInput control.

Make sure that the Format property within the TextInput is matched to the data type. My 'Room' column is a Text column, so I choose the Format as Text.

Hi @v-qiaqi-msft

This is so perfect solution to what I wanted, but this is giving me a problem in my collection, such that when i add the total to collection it is not showing me the Sum(addition) can you please let me know why Sir?

Please have a look at my output as you said and showed its working fine, but my collection is not working now, week total shows the sum records of all the total is added

e.g : total = 10, 10 10,

weektotal should be : 30

Please see that on default of my weektotal:

"€" & Sum(Recordss, TotalItems)

and On addbutton the collection is:

Collect(Recordss,
{
    GItems: Text(Dropdown1.Selected.Value),
    TotalItems:DataCardValue43.Text,
    RDate: DataCardValue2.SelectedDate,
    Description: DataCardValue1.Text
});

Please note that in above formula

GItems is weektotal card

                                             and

totalItems is Total Card as shown in below screenshot.

my app has multiple forms so if I go to make a new form, var3 gets set as a value for all the other forms. var3 is the same for all the other forms in the gallery

do i need to do updatecontext instead of set? how do i make each form have its own unique var3 value rather than they all have var3 pointing to the latest recent value???
