I originally had an idea for an app, but now the business owner changed the scope actually the requirements were better defined.
I'm not sure how many SharePoint lists to use and if the Power App.
Not sure if 1 SharePoint list would be good idea or multiple lists but will need the data to be all compiled on a main screen at a review point of the items, is it possible to have a Multiple Screened Power App with data connections to different lists.
here is the process:
A) Starting point (Could be a separate PowerApps Screen)
The team received the item(s) and enter in a control number and various data points for that item.
they can get more that 1 at a time but the item needs to be logged individually.
B) Log Sheet Level
check out control numbers
they check out 2 items at a time based on the Step A. they will select 2 control numbered items.
1. they log both numbers on a form. then they input the various data elements like expiration date, color etc. into the form.
2. When there is a checkout/check-in of the item(s)
They log in out the Control Numbers (2 at a time), then they log in time etc. the item was checked out and then what time the item is checked back in.
When there are items out and noted (Multiple line comment box) information in concerning the individual items.
this process repeats several times.
there is also a point where 1 item can be used, which would orphan 1 item. but then there would be where the checkout process would start again and the orphaned item would get a control item to be matched with it.
D) when an item is used, there is a Processed Screen where the information is entered, and the control number(s) are logged in and the details of the control numb items usage are logged.
I'm thinking at least 2 lists?
the initial enter the control number list.
then the check-in/checkout and then the processed control number data being another list.
Is there a need for 2 SharePoint lists? or can 1 do this with being able to select 2 control numbers at a time?
can Power Apps do a multiple screen form? with using a image navigation to navigate
