No Data Source Provided

Hi,

I have a SharePoint list from which I've built a Poweraps customs form onto.

Everything works perfectly, but at some occasions when I open one of the list items, it says "No Data Source Provided".

This happens 40% of the time, where if i refresh the browser it works fine.

I tried different browsers, different devices but the issue is repetitive.

It's very strange, since it works sometimes and other times it doesn't

(most of the time it occurs with the OnView property when I open the list item from an email link to view the contents)

Below is my code used for Form Behaviors:

OnEdit: 

Refresh('CASH APPROVAL'); EditForm('02.USER'); EditForm('01.HEADER') ; EditForm('03.CASHIER') ; EditForm('04.SERVICES'); Navigate(OVERVIEW, ScreenTransition.None)

OnNew:

Refresh('CASH APPROVAL'); NewForm('02.USER') ; NewForm('01.HEADER') ; NewForm('03.CASHIER'); NewForm('04.SERVICES'); Navigate(USER, ScreenTransition.None)

OnView:

Refresh('CASH APPROVAL'); ViewForm('02.USER'); ViewForm('01.HEADER') ; ViewForm('03.CASHIER') ; ViewForm('04.SERVICES') ; Navigate('02.USER', ScreenTransition.None); 

Am I doing anything wrong?

I've made a similar test but not met the problem like your desciption.

Could you show me 

1)'02.USER','01.HEADER','03.CASHIER','04.SERVICES' these four forms' Items?

2)the send emial button's OnSelect?

Here's my test for your reference:

1)form's Items:

If(IsBlank(SharePointIntegration.Selected) || IsEmpty(SharePointIntegration.Selected),First(list2),SharePointIntegration.Selected)

list2 is my list name.

2) send email button's OnSelect:

Office365.SendEmailV2("TO","aaa",SharePointIntegration.Selected.'Link to item')

What's more, I suggest you clean your browser's cache and update your browser to the latest version.

Sometimes, the problem is about browser.

Hi Phoebe,

Thanks for your response and apologies for the delay in writing back, was engaged with other meetings.

I have many items in my forms, I've given you a screenshot of one of them "01. HEADER" for reference.

Also tried refreshing my browser cache and history without success. 

The issue happens mainly when I am checking the item in "view" mode

my form display is defaulted to "edit" but I do set the property to "View" upon opening in view mode as explained earlier.

 Let me know if you need any additional information please. I'm sure it has something to do with my forms but I'm new to Powerapps and after significant diagnostics I still can't seem to figure it out, hence posting it here. Thanks in advance

Any luck checking my response and finding out the root cause of the problem?

It's very strange and I can't seemt to find any logical answer or a similar issue from the online forumes

Can you share more details about where are you setting these "OnEdit", "OnNew" and "OnView" values. This issue arises when the form state is not defined properly. To display data in the forms, the form should be in one of the three states: New,Edit or View. Whenever you are getting "No Data Source provided", this means the form is not initiated properly.

It's starting to make more sense now. I have my  "OnEdit", "OnNew" and "OnView" values set on the SharePoint Integration directly, while my forms don't have any DefaultMode set on them.

Below screenshots for reference. I hope you can guide me on how to set my Form DefaultMode to mimic the SharePoint Integration  "OnEdit", "OnNew" and "OnView" values, if possible?

I replied above but by mistake mentioned the earlier responding user.

You response makes a lot of sense and I just need help finding a way to mimic my SharePointIntegration view since the form is opened from SharePoint directly by clicking on the "New", "Edit", or "View" buttons on the site itself.

Any help is much appreciated

Hi @Anonymous 

Can you try to set the DefaultMode as Edit mode? Set this for all the Edit forms.
