Patch not updating Text Input Field

I'm baffled at why this is not working as it's a simple Multi-Line Text Input Field patching to a Multi-Line column in SharePoint.  All of my corresponding patching is working fine and I have the same Text Input Field patching other lists and working fine.  However, for some reason, the below patch will not update the column in SharePoint.

As mentioned, every other column is being properly updated/patched without error.  The code also see's the text input typed into the field as shown below...

I've also tried other methods of expressions with the same failed result...

Again, both the text input field in PowerApps and SharePoint Column are Multi-Line Text formatted and this Text Input updates other lists with the same formatting just fine.  Can someone please help me figure out what the issue is?

Have you tried Putting a label on the screen to make sure you are really getting that info? Maybe write the info to a collection and check that? Also - since other data is being written, have you double-checked that the column name is completely correct? These things are always frustrating!

I had not tried the label test, but yes, no matter the 1 of 4 expressions I use to fill the text, it shows up in the label.

Regarding the column names, I did and I know they are correct because I have many other locations in my app that patch to the same list columns with the same expressions (although with different PowerApp Control names) with no issues at all.

Finally, I tried the collection idea and the info does write to the collection just fine, and when using the collection for the patch back to SharePoint, it's still not updating the same two columns but everything else does.

Very strange - Can you change the data directly in the SP list?

Most definitely.  I use SharePoint as a means of updating the records as well, but just to be sure nothing was broken I went ahead and updated one via SP and both columns allowed me to update just fine. 

I since also created a separate button with a patch to only update the two that are giving me issues (with the current controls being used in the problem expression)  and the patch works just fine there too.  

I'm lost on this one and it's quite frustrating because it's pretty straightforward and seems to be working with every other method used.

That is odd. It is probably a lot of work, but PowerApps does get odd sometimes. If you put the same code on a brand new screen does it work? If so you may just need to rebuild the screen.

To answer your latest question, yes, and the test that I ran earlier with a separate button was on the same screen.  

However, we have BREAKING NEWS!  I don't know why I thought of this, but I separated my patch into 2 separate patches within the same expression.  One patch for the problem columns, and another patch for the others that were already working.  BAM... it now works.  

Sometimes PowerApps will drive you to drink!!!
