Problem In Notification Flow

Hi comunnity, I'm having a hard time implementing my flow. It happens that for each OrderLine that I add the mail is sent immediately.

Basically what I'm looking for is that when all the order lines have already been added and the "Submit" button is clicked, the notification is sent by mail.

This is the form where all the OrderLines are added.

Hi @MartinVargas 

Flow should be triggered when you change the status of the Order, so the first step should be like

Change Type: Modified

Select Columns: statuscode 

So this flow will be triggered only when you change the status on the Order table

And also flow should trigger only when the status is completed. For that, we need to add a condition to the settings.

• Click "..." three-dot on the first step (When a row is added, modified or deleted)
• Click Settings
• Set the Trigger condition based on your requirement

Change the status name to Submitted instead of Completed

Hi @StalinPonnusamy. The problem occurs that all the records (Orders) in their status code have the data as "Active".

• When the order is created the status is Active and the Status reason is also Active. That's fine.
• When you submit the order Status reason should be changed to Submitted so that we can control the flow.
• If you are not able to change the status reason then we need to create a new field like "Ready to Submit" (Boolean). So that the user should set this field to "Yes' when ready for submission. We can rely on this field.

What we are trying here is we need to know when the flow needs to be triggered whether Status Reason or custom field.

I tried the following conditions and still couldn't:

I created a similar scenario and tested it.

1. I added a new status reason called "Completed" with the value of (956360000)

2. Added the trigger condition in the flow. So that flow will trigger only when the status reason is completed

@equals(triggerOutputs()?['body/statuscode'],956360000)

Result (As expected flow only triggered when the status reason is completed)

We need to add a New Status reason in the Dataverse Order table.

• Go to your Dataverse Environment (https://orgname.crm.dynamics.com/)
  • If you are not sure of the org name then follow here
    • Go to https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/environments
    • Select the environment
    • Find the Environment URL
    • Click the URL
    • 
• Now, I assume you opened the environment
• Click Advanced Settings
• 

  Go to Customizations

• 

  Click "Customize the system"

• 

  Double click "Status Reason" to open

• Add new status
• Make sure to click 'Publish Customizations"
