Pulling data from just one specific cell in Excel

I have created a table in Excel that I can easily pull data from but I have a text box in PowerApps that I need to populate with data from one specific cell in that table.   How do I do that?

All I need to do is put "Carson" in the text box.

So the excel contains static data that never changes and you you want to select Carson from the table:

Default = First (Filter (Roster1, FirstName = "Carson")).FirstName

Of course you can have any other selection criteria, just write it within the Filter function based on existing columns in excel.

Okay, I finally got it all figured it out with everyone's help!

Thank very much.  It wasn't working because:

There was a space between "Last" and "Name" in my column header.

ID=1 did not work (when using Lookup function) but ID = "1" did.

Thanks again to all of you.

You can use the column names with spaces if you enclose them within ‘ ‘

Thanks very much for your help!
