Remove Duplicates from Cascading Choice Dropdown

I have two drop downs that are in SharePoint as Lookup fields. Using the following formula returns all values in duplicate. 

Choices('DataSource1'.Column)

This one is the second dropdown that is connected to the first dropdown.

Filter(Choices('DataSource1'.'Column1'), Value in (Filter('DataSource2',DataCardValue.Selected.Value='Column2').'Column1'))

How do I remove the duplicate items from both of these?

In the list, those are Single line of text, but I tried to add Value just in case and that produces an error saying that it is invalid.

Any other thoughts on these final steps. We are so close to resolving this issue.

Hi @send2mark  , I had the same use case before here is how I mad it work.

First DropDown
Choices([@FirstLookup].Type, ThisItem.'Name (Title)')

Second Dropdown
Filter(Choices([@FirstLookup].'Subtype'), Id in Filter([@'SecondLookup'], FirstDropDown.Selected.Id = 'Type'.Id).ID)

As I understand using a column will rather give you inconsistent results (and possibly duplicates) this is why I am using the choice function in the lookup field with [@]. You can just use Choices it should give the distinct for the first lookup and then the second one you can filter based on the first.

@send2mark, It looks that your list does not have 'Name (Title)' column.

It looks like the list did have the column Title renamed to something else, but I renamed it back to Title and I am still seeing the issue.

You don't need to rename it, just use the name you have for the column you want to display as value, and it has to be text. You don't necessarily need the second argument, try without it and then try to refer to a text column if you need that the search text.

Yeah, I already tried without the second argument, but it still had the duplicates.

Just as @rssilvaba said, have you tried to add disambiguation operator @ before the data source as follows?

Filter(
Distinct(Choices([@'PCE-PA-BO Tracker'].IssueType),Value),
Result in Filter([@'Production Continuity Tool Causes'],'Cause Category'=DataCardValue44.Selected.Result).'Issue Type'
)// DataCardValue33.Items property

LookUp(Choices([@'PCE-PA-BO Tracker'].IssueType), Value=DataCardValue33.Selected.Result) // DataCard. Update
