Reset function of EditForm not working on iPad, but working on other devices

Hello community,

I have an issue with a PowerApp built based on a SharePoint list. In the EditScreen, I have defined that on a specific condition, all fields must Reset to the Default value. So, for a data card the following are defined:

- Reset = NewCase (a context variable that kicks in at a condition)

- Default = If(NewCase; ""; Parent.Default)

This works smooth in preview mode, browser, iPhone and Android. But not on iPad??

I have checked and the last PowerApps app version is used. The iPad runs iOS 12.2, so not old. 

Any ideas of why this happens? Thank you for any feedback!

Thanks for the feedback.

Currently I am not able to test this and can't reproduce the issue on my side. Things that you may give it a try:

Under your  device, try to login out and loign again, or re-install PowerApps.

Hi @v-yuxima-msft , thanks for your answer. I have tried both. Unfortunately it did not change things. I tried on multiple devices.

Can this be a bug from Microsoft's side? If that is the case, how can it be communicated?

I cannot understand why otherwise this works on all other devices, but not on iPad...

OK, I seem to have found the problem.

I had a kind-of-circular variable definition which PowerApps managed to handle in all devices, but not in iPad. 

Now I have defined the variable in another way, and it works seamlessly on iPad too.

It was my bad programming skills and not Microsoft's fault after all 😄
