Send a push notification and email to the person who is selected in the combobox

Hi, 

I am trying to set up my first Power App where a manager fills out a form, selects a driver to drive a specific route. This is done by using a ComboBox which uses data from my Office365Users. If it is possible, I would then like PowerApps to send a notification and an email to this selected person and use details from the form submitted by the manager as the body of the email.

If anyone could help, that would be very much appreciated.

here's how to do that:

create a power automate flow--in my screenshot I show doing it from a button, but you can also have an formula execute a flow. When you create your flow (which you can do by hitting the power automate button in power apps as shown in #2 or go to powerautomate.microsoft.com) there is a template for "powerapps button". Choose that one.

4. add a step

5. Select mail connector (can also use the office365 mail connector if you want to have the email come from you

6. for the "to" select "ask in power apps." this will create a variable that you will pass from your power app. add the other details you want in the notification.

7. add a step for send push notification/powerapps

8. Give it a connection name and that ID of the app you want the notification to appear in

9. Add the details--this wil be another ask in power apps for the email address of the user to get the recipient.

then to trigger the flow it is basically 'name of flow'.Run(parameter values separated by commas). Intellitext will be your friend here. Since you need the email address twice what I would do is add a compose step at the beginning of the flow and set that to ask in powerapps--that way you can use one variable and pass it multiple times, to the send email step or the push notification step.

Big thing--if you create your flow from the power app, make sure whn you get to the flow creation part it is in the same environment as your app--mine defaults to the default environment, which will make your flow unavailable for the app.

Say your flow has a prompt In power apps in it. This creates a parameter that you need to populate from your app.

From the app when you call your flow (YourFlow.run() put the value that you want to pass to the parameter inside of the parenthesis. If there are multiple prompt in power apps steps, put the values to send separated by commas in your expression in the order in which they appear in the flow

In that case, how should I automate this process?
