Show Distinct Items in Drop down From SQL table

I have some items in the SQL table and I want to show the distinct items of a column in Dropdown. Whenever I try to show the distinct items of a column, some of the items are missing in the dropdown list. So, Every time it leads me to create a collection in the PowerApps with distinct items. For a small number of items, this approach is okay. But I could not create a collection for a large number of items (more than 100).

So, could you please guide me on how to get (approaches) the distinct items of SQL fields directly into dropdown?

Is there any limit on drop list items count?

I understand dropdown has a limit of about 500 items. But combobox does not have a limit.

I prefer combobox because of the capacity to search for an item inside the combobox itself.

Insert a dropdown or Combobox then on the item property put:
Distinct(TableName,ColumnName)
This should work but also ensure there are no spaces in the rows I'm the table.

Okay.
