ThisItem statement not pulling through

I have a label that has this statement "Notes: " & Thisitem.AdditionalItems It doesn't give me a red x so it works and the notes appears but nothing pulls through. Has anyone seen this by chance?Excel_OneDrive.JPGThisitemstatement.JPG

My bad! I forgot to add the .Text on the label item. Try:

"Notes: " & LookUp(Devices, Title = DeviceName.Text, AdditionalItems)

The reason for that .Text is so it knows to reference the Text field and not just the object itself. Again, my bad for leaving that out.

So that worked.. but unfortuantely we are back to the same issue with the ThisItem.Additionalitems

Nothing pulls through. Kind of strange. The character limit varies so it isn't a length issue

Dang. Sorry to work so hard at something only to be back to square one. I don't work with Excel all that often in PowerApps so there may be some quirk that I am unaware of.

Just to double check, the Devices table is what is connected to the Data source of the gallery right?

No problem. I really appreciate your help and found a new tool to use in the future.

Yeah the gallery is for devices. Thinking about moving the data to sharepoint to test

That is a good thought. Not to throw too much at you but you could also use the Collect or ClearCollect function to pull the data into the app. It is a little easier to use and a bit faster performance as well. Best of luck to you!

Here is some info on Collect and ClearCollect, if you want to check that out.

"Notes: " & LookUp(ComputerList, Computers = ComputerTextBox.Text).AdditionalItems

 Have you tried this?
