Two Combobox from the same SharePoint list, exclude selection from one of the comboboxes

Hello -

I have two comboboxes on my app that both pull from the same SharePoint list. Is there a way to exclude the option that was selected from the first combobox in the second combobox, or vice versa?

Hi @sud ,

You cannot do both (that is a circular reference where controls refer to each other), but you can certainly filter one to exclude the item selected in the other - the code would depend on the Items of the Combo Box

Please click Accept as solution if my post helped you solve your issue. This will help others find it more readily. It also closes the item. If the content was useful in other ways, please consider giving it Thumbs Up.

Good to know. If I have items like this in the SharePoint list: Dell, Microsoft, Apple, HP

So in the first combobox I have all of the options available (Dell, Microsoft, Apple, HP), and if I select Apple, the second box only shows Dell, Microsoft, HP.

How would I be able to exclude Apple from the second combobox?
