Unable to upload images on tablet, but able to upload on mobile and browser

Hello.

We have two apps, both of which use the Camera control to upload images to our Sharepoint lists as attachments, and then run a flow that adds those images to a Sharepoint library.

These apps work just fine on mobile and on browser, but on Microsoft Tablet, as soon as the user submits their form, everything except the images are being uploaded, and I have no idea why. 

Both apps handle images in a similar way, although one app can only upload one image at a time, while the other can upload multiple. I'll be using the app that handles multiple images at once for this thread. 

This is what our 'Add a picture' screen looks like:

The user is able to choose which camera they want to use via the dropdown, which is a necessary feature as some mobile devices and tablets will default to using the front-facing camera, instead of the back-facing camera. 

When a user clicks on the camera screen, images are displayed as an album under the camera control. 
Users are able to remove images if needed. Once the user is satisfied with the images, they can click 'Add' to create a COLLECTION of images, and are redirected to the 'Details' page.

As you mentioned that images are getting added via flow and it works in mobile but not in tablet.

Suggesting few debug points see if it helps.

1. Check the logs of the if it is getting triggered.

2. Try asking same user for which it is not working to login into Mobile app and test. See if it works there.

3. Try testing it on some other tablet device.

4. Ensure application has necessary permission to access camera , image gallery , etc. on that tablet.

5. If nothing works try to add custom logs to find out where exactly it is failing.

Hello, Bhaskar, thankyou for getting back to me. 

The users have reported no issues with the mobile and web browser versions of the app, only with tablets. We've tested it on multiple tablets, and the issue persists. We know the app has proper permissions on the tablet, as we're able to take pictures, but they're not being submitted at all. 

Using mobile, I was able to submit an image normally. This is what the 'Get Items' step looks like when uploading an image through mobile:

As you can see, the 'Has Attachments' field is set to 'false' when uploading on tablet, which means images are not even being added to the form. 
The 'submit' button is able to upload attachments to the relevant list item on mobile and web browser, but on tablets, the correct list item is being referenced, but images are simply not being uploaded.

have you verified your flow runs. Is it getting triggered for uploading image for that item via Tablet as your images are getting saved  via power automate only. If it is getting triggered then check if it is getting required input from PowerApps and if it is not getting triggered then check on that aspect.

Yes, the flow is being triggered on tablet. The list item's other properties, such as the Title, Name, and additional columns are visible when inspecting the details for the 'Get Items' step. 

The main thing I'm noticing is that 'HasAttachments' is set to 'false', when uploading via tablet, which means means no images are being uploaded to the list item at all.
