Update multiple orders with the same information

Hello

I used an UpdateIf to update rows in a table that contain a specific order number:

UpdateIf('Endereçamento Finished Goods - P20'; Title = TextInput1.Text; {Consignment: TextInput3.Text})

but this way I can only update one order at a time, so I create a table with a list of the orders I want to update with the same information, this table is a Collection with the name "ColListaDelivery".

So to update all the necessary orders with this information I thought of using the "ForAll" function like this:

ForAll(ColListaDelivery; UpdateIf('Endereçamento Finished Goods - P20'; Title = ThisRecord; {Consignment: TextInput3.Text}))

But since the items in the comparison are of different type, it is not possible to make the comparison The following message appears: "Incompatible types for this comparison".

Can anyone help me how to solve this? Or maybe some other way to update the "Consignment" column on all rows that contain these order numbers from the "ColListaDelivery" list?

I think this should help you and update all your rows at the same time!

ClearCollect(Col, 'Endereçamento Finished Goods - P20');
ForAll(Col, UpdateIf('Endereçamento Finished Goods - P20', 'Title = TextInput1.Text;{Consignment: TextInput3.Text}))

This way it doesn't work, because then it will only update the request that is written in textinput1. But what I need is the following:
let's suppose that my table contains 100 orders registered and I need to update 25 of these orders at once, without having to type one by one in Textinput1.

NOTE: the same order can be registered in more than one line, because a single order can have more than one volume/box registered, and for each volume a record is made

Ah my bad, I thought all the orders would have the same Title 😊

In this case, once you created the collection with all the orders you want to update, you can use this formula:

ForAll(ColListaDelivery; UpdateIf('Endereçamento Finished Goods - P20'; true; {Consignment: TextInput3.Text}))

 By putting the UpdateIf condition to "true", all rows in your collection will be updated.

To start, your formula has the ForAll backward. You are trying to use it like a ForLoop in some development language - which PowerApps is not.  ForAll is a function that returns a table of records based on your iteration table and record schema.

It is more efficient to use the function as intended and will provide better performance.

UpdateIf has horrible performance because of how it works.  Adding the ForAll backwards will only multiple that  horrible performance!

As long as you have the primary key of your records in your ColListaDelivery collection, then using your ForAll properly would be more like this:

Patch('Endereçamento Finished Goods - P20'; 
    ForAll(ColListaDelivery;
        {ID: ID,
         Consignment: TextInput3.Text
        }
    )
)

This will be tremendously fast as compared to how you have it.

Yes, so again, if you have the primary keys of the records from your list, then you simply need to provide that in a similar way as in the formula.  

I am not completely following your terms of "order", "line", "record" - are these all the same?  Are you dealing with records in your list that you want to update?  Is this in a gallery?  What role does the collection play?
