Using JSON to sent repeating section data as a string to a SharePoint multi line text column

I have a repeating section gallery and am using UpdateContext and concatenate to sent the data as a string to a multi line SharePoint column. I am learning JSON and I am not sure where to use JSON to capture the data and return it to SharePoint column

Hello,

You want to be able to Patch (update) a Row in a SharePoint list correct?

And specifically you have a string that you want to use to update a multiline column in the SharePoint List.

Is this field the ONLY field you want to update?

Ok, lets say you have a Column in SharePoint called Multiline_Notes

And lets say you have a Context Variable field called Multiline_Notes_Context_Variable

And lets pretend that your SharePoint list is called MySharePointList

And Pretend your gallery is called Gallery1

It really depends on how you are showing the data etc. But based on what you said, and pretending you ONLY want to update that one field you would add for instance a Button and use the OnSelect property to patch (update) the list.

Like this

Patch(MySharePointList, Gallery1.Selected, 
    {
        Multiline_Notes: Multiline_Notes_Context_Variable

I have a form and gallery. I am using patch/look up to submit the form data. The gallery is representative of a repeating section. So first I am using update context to send the data in the gallery to the MLT field the updating using the patch/lookup to submit form data (See below). I want to use JSON to simply this.
