I have been running an app for 3 weeks and starting 5/1 we are not able to edit records and get the following message when we attempt to edit and save a record. I am using a SQL Azure database.

"The record specified is not an entity or not owned by this data source"

I can change records on the phone app and from the desktop app. Cannot change from the browser.

I can not find any reference to this.

Any help would be appreciated

So un update on my APP.

IT no longer works on the desktop or Iphone APP.

I rebuilt the APP and it worked fine until I put the Toggle Control. I tried the check box control and that also caused it to fail.

I have a call at 1:00 pm with Microsoft to review what is happening.

It does look Like the Powerapp program has been updated by Microsoft. I noticed the Gallery select has changed and they added Data Table option. Those where not there last week.

I have some updates but for troubleshooting purposes only. I noticed this only happens when I try to update older records, older than say this past Monday 5/8/17. If i create new records and then interact with them it works fine. I also noticed this error is now happening on Mobile devices, it wasn't doing this as of yesterday. It is also happening on Azure SQL DB datasources in addition to common data model entities.

At this point i am going to submit a ticket as well, as i see the services are running smoothly on the bulletin. See if i can get some attention, as my code/formulas are correct as proven by the fact that new records and interacting with those records works just fine.

Yes, the error seems to occur when editing entries on a different device than the record was originally created on. (ie Error occurs when attempting to edit an entry from Desktop app that was created via Mobile app, or editing an entry from the Mobile app that was originally created on the Desktop app)

I'm tempted to backup all data, wipe the app, and start over. Immensly frustrating.

Before you go through all that, lets just see if we can get the support we need on it. I will keep you posted on any progress when I get a call back.

I have also contacted support and sent in Fiddler data as well as the app itself. Let's hope this gets resolved soon. Very frustrating indeed.

I had a call with Microsoft yesterday and the issue with my program seemed to be tied to IF/Then logic

I basically started my APP over and it broke as soon as the logice for the Toggle or Check box was put in. We were able to add a drop down successfully. (No If/Then logic)

They told me Microsoft updated the program and rolled ot oput to the web then the Desktop which is why I experinced issue in the browser first.

They are sending my app the the developers to try to figure out.

Thanks for the update.

This is typical of issues I've seen in the past when Microsoft pushes updates. Two steps foward, one step back.

I hope they get this figured out. Luckily, only our users who access PowerApps from both Desktop and Mobile are epxeriencing the issue.

I had a checkbox on a screen that was changing the filter for the gallery. I removed that checkbox and my app started working. I have other checkboxes but they don't change the filter. The app still works with those so I am thinking it's a filter problem and not a checkbox/toggle control problem.

I don't think it has anything to do with controls. I have none of the controls you've mentioned, yet I have the error.

I'm confident it is not related to the check box or toggle controls.

Have you tried creating a record on Mobile and then modifying that record from Desktop?
