Solved: Re: flow.run failed invalid parameters

I have a power automate running off of power apps. I have this working in a testing environment, where everything pretty much matches production. When I move it to the production environment, I get a Flow.run failed: invalid parameter for Name_Value. I can confirm that I am passing a Textbox.Text info into a string variable, in power automate.

Any help on this would be appreciated. I have looked through the pages and not be able to find a possible solution to this. Thank you for your assistance.

Okay. Found the issue with this.

I had the flow being called in the "On Success" part of the form. Doing this meant that the information from the form has been cleared prior to the flow being called. I now have the information being submitted to a variable prior to submitting the form. The flow is still being called in the "On Success" part; however, it is now being passed those saved variables, from the submit button click.

Are you moving this as part of a solution or just exporting and importing the app/flow? If its export/import I would suggest editing the power app, copy the run line, remove the flow, re-add the flow, and paste the run line back in. The Power App embeds a good bit of information about the flow when it is added. I suspect that information is now incorrect because you imported the flow to a new environment.

The purpose of this is to just pass the information into the power automate and have that run. No information is coming back to the power app.

Are you suggesting deleting the power app trigger in the flow and add a replacement one? Then to re-add it to the power app?

No need to delete the trigger. Just remove the flow from Power Apps and re-add it. I suspect that the problem is that information imported with the Power App doesn't match the flow imported into production. It matches the original flow and needs to be updated.

Okay. I removed the power automate from the test environment and the production environment. I then re-ran the item and I am still getting this error. Now the textbox is coming from a form but in the test environment, it was in the form as well.

I have the command to call the flow inside an if statement. This shouldn't be a problem correct?

It shouldn't matter that its inside an If() and you shouldn't have to remove it in both environments after the import. Have you edited the imported flow in production and saved it?

I am using the same flow I used in the test. I changed the create items to use the production SharePoint page instead of a testing page. The power app in production has many more bells and whistles than the bare-bones testing app.
To be clear.

The testing environment is a SharePoint calendar that only certain users have access to.

The production environment is a SharePoint calendar that all users have access to.

When created the calendars were copied from one and pasted for the other.

If needed I can copy the code in the power app. I do not get an error message until it runs.

My point is that when the flow was imported from testing to production some of the GUIDs etc changed. The links in the Power App may be pointing at the wrong GUID. You need to remove and recreate the link to make sure that the connection between the Power App and the flow in Production is correct.
