send email if..

I know this has been asked a few times and I've looked at the responses but haven't resolved it. I think it's a simple resolution I'm nearly there !!

On success of a form I want to send an email if a particular label has text in it else don't send the email.. The else don't send is where I'm stuck not quite sure what to put there?  so after the comma below on last line.  Have tried a lot of different options but obviously missing the right one 🙂

If(!IsBlank(LblSpocChange.Text,Office365Outlook.SendEmailV2(
    EmailTo,
    EmailSubject,
    EmailNote
), )

Have also tried this

If(!IsBlank(LblSpocChange.Text),Office365Outlook.SendEmailV2(
EmailTo,
EmailSubject,
EmailNote
),)

Hi @Anonymous

If now Im, not mistaken, you want to send the email only if there is something in the label, and if is blank don't right?

So the solution to this will be as such

The below code is for if your label or text filed is blank will not send an email, and if not blank will send an email.

If(!IsBlank(TextInput1.Text), Office365Outlook.SendEmailV2("tapesh.patel@msdn.ie", " EmailSubject", "EmailNote"))

Hi @Anonymous

Can you please try this as this works fine for me when I tried?

If(!IsBlank(TextInput1.Text), Office365Outlook.SendEmailV2("tapesh.patel@msdn.ie", " EmailSubject", "EmailNote"), Notify(
"Please enter approvers email id e.g username@msdn.ie",
        NotificationType.Error))

Also it seems like there was missing brackets in your if else statement you can your the above code to modify as per your needs.

Please see the result as below if the textInput is blank throws and error message.

Thanks @Tapesh  for your response, but it's not quite what I need ! 🙂  yours gives a notification if  no email and that's fine I know how to do "something else" When the label is blank, what I'm trying to do is "nothing else" when the label is blank !!  i.e if there is something in the label then send the email if there isn't then don't !
