Checkbox and multi select choice column

Hi all,
I am using Dataverse as a Data Source whit a multi select Choice Column. In a Canvas app I want to change the multiple selection dropdown for checkboxes. In Sharepoint it seems to be an easy solution that doesnt work for Dataverse. Any suggestions on how to make it work or where I can read about it?

Thank you all

Hello, @pacopepe82 , Dataverse doesn't have a multiselect choice column. If you use the Choice column with a multi-select combo-box, it won't give an error, but it will only save the last selected value in the combo-box to the record.

You can create a Text column and to hold the value of multiple selected value. Create the Choice list in Dataverse and use it in your Canvas App to populate the Combo-Box control and allow the multi-selection option. Then use the Concat function to create the Text from the Selected Items and use that value to update the new column (Text Data type) value.

@pacopepe82, Actually I missed this option and I am not sure if it is a new feature but I have tested it and it is working from the Dataverse side. I have yet to test it from the PowerApps (Canvas) side though.

Hi @AhmedSalih , yes I had clicked on that option before when I asked the question but the usual SharePoint syntax doesn’t work on data verse. Your previous option works but it’s too complex as I have a lot of multiple selection questions in my app
