Bug: Error if Lookup.Simple property in manifest

According to https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/developer/component-framework/manifest-schema-reference/p... the "Lookup.Simple" is now a supported property type. But if I have this is my manifest:

<property of-type="Lookup.Simple" ... />

... then I get this when I build:

[pcf-1057] [Error] The 'Lookup' data types are not supported.

Using PAC CLI 1.6.4

Hi @davidjenkins ,

It turns out that the docs were changed by accident and will be reverted. We will get an official announcement when the preview starts.

I've thought the same as you, and wrote a blog about this, but this new information makes the content unsupported for now: https://dianabirkelbach.wordpress.com/2021/05/14/a-first-look-to-the-lookup-pcf/.

Hope it helps!

Kind regards,

Diana

@davidjenkins - The docs article has now been updated to say that Lookup.Simple is unsupported.
