Modern Approvals Body Formatting

I'm creating a business card request from that forward to manager for approval.

I'd like the modern approvals message the approver gets to look like this:

Quantity: something

Name: something

Cost Center: Something (and so on).

Instead it's formatting like this

Quantity: something Name: something Cost Center: Something (and so on).

The approval is ugly. I've trying using HTML </br> tags but they show up in the message like this

Quantity: something</br>Name: something</br>Cost Center: Something (and so on).

Which is even more confusing. Anyone found a good solution?

I am afraid currently it is not available for the Send Approval Email action to edit the Email Body in HTML format, as there is no option available to choose whether the Email body would be in HTML or not.

I will try to make some tests on this, there should be some character which could be recognized as the line feed character in the body.

I think this is important to have as most user requirements would like to edit the body as HTML format

Mine is working using HTML tags but I had to turn on the email option "Is Html?" to be YES for the it to recognize the tags.  This setting is at the bottom of the email content section below the Body of the message.

Hi deeod, I think you are referring to the old approval there is a new approval action called Modern approval

this still does NOT support HTML as of today this is a critical for our team and a very common requirement

I hope flow team would add this HTML option in the new modern approval it would be a total tumbs up ....

Try adding <a href="hyperlink">your text here</a> and the HTML renders fine in the email, leave the text blank if you don't want any hyperlink to be displayed

<BR> works for me on the E-mail Approval Block... I do notice that you have "\" in there on your <\BR>

@Anonymous Could you please clarify, do you mean placing <a href="hyperlink">your text here</a> in the Details field of the Start an Approval card, as below?

I've tried with and without a working link, with and without text, and putting it in the body of the email I'm attempting to use in this Details field instead, but so far the garble of HTML tags persists.

Yes in the details only - I know this is not the response you are looking for but I believe something may have changed as the email works file for me with or without html tags

Yep someting has changed because none of my Modern Approval emails render the HTML

Is there any update as to why the Modern Approval Flow's detail section is not rendering in HTML? I know the details section comes through on the emails just fine, but if your using the Flow App. (Which is kind of a big reason to use the modern approval flows) It's still all mushed up.

Any feedback from the community would be helpful. This issue is delaying me pushing out a new workflow for our executives to approve details of a bid as they are on the go. The main reason why we want to use this instead of the email as the primary approval is that it provides a notification on the phone from the Flow App rather then just another random email hitting their inboxes.

Facing this issue also, what a shame, it was all fantastic and easy, until you receive the approval email which is aligned as centered, and does not take Bold... or other HTML... 

I see that this issue is reported since 2016 on some other forums, its a shame there is no reaction on this yet, would make the product perfect for business use! 

If any missed update please do let us know, its really a bottleneck to production! The rest is great, thanks!
