People Picker Drop-Down Displaying 0 Results

People picker field from Sharepoint list.  On the Edit screen, the field displays as a drop-down list.  However, selecting the drop-down arrow shows "Displaying 0 Results".  You can begin typing the username in the field and a list of matching users shows below the field and is selectable.

I'm trying to get the drop-down function to populate with usernames.  Any ideas?

Thanks.

Hi @blalor1,

Actually the Dropdown under the Edit Screen when create App from SharePoint list Data acts as a search box, which is different from the Dropdown control mentioned in this article.

"I'm trying to get the drop-down function to populate with usernames", could you please explain a bit for this?

The Lookup field is in record type, in addition to the user name field, it also needs some other additional fields, see my posts on this:

How to patch SharePoint List Lookup field, such as people, choice, or the custom Lookup column type

If you would like to display username with the auto-generated dropdown control, then you should specify the corresponding record with in the Dropdown defaults.

Thank you Michael.  I'll give that a try.
