When using Sort and Filter it wont show the blank items

Hello!

I seem to have a problem with the "Sort" function. When I use "Lat contact" thats a date/time column in sharepoint and it wont work. But when I use another column which is a textfield column it works and sorts the way I want it too. Any ideas to fix this? I also want it to show the items with fields in "Last contact" that are blank.

I got this code:

I suspect now you realise what I was trying to do - the problem is not your date filter, but the other filters. You need to break this down and then get each one showing data before adding the next, then you will know which one is the issue.

For instance, what are you trying to do here?

   Agreementarea.Value in "Location1" & "Location2" & "Location3";
   Status.Value in "Ongoing" & "Finished"
   )
)

maybe it should be

Filter(
   'Logg';
   (
      Agreementarea.Value = "Location1" ||

       Status.Value = "Finished"
   )

 Can you please try each filter separately. The ones that do not work, tell me what you are trying to achieve and I will assist.

This worked:

I inserted sort and the toggle and it works too. So if toggle is ON the filter and sort is correct, nice!

The problem I have now is if I have the toggle off i want to be able to sort with the multiselect box "Sort agreementarea" instead and that doesnt work. Tried with this code but no luck:

Clearly your issue is this statement

Agreementarea.Value in 'Sort agreementarea'.SelectedItems.Value

Assuming AgreementArea is a Choice field in your data set and 'Sort agreementarea' is a multi-choice control, try this

Sort(

	  (   
         Status.Value = "Ongoing" ||
         Status.Value = "Finished"
      ) &&
      If(
         'Toggle'.Value=true;
         (
            Agreementarea.Value = "Location1" ||
            Agreementarea.Value = "Location2" ||
            Agreementarea.Value = "Location3"
         );
         'Sort agreementarea'.SelectedItems in Agreementarea.Value
      );
      'Last contact'
   )
)

Note the true reference on the toggle - it should work without it, but I have had issues on some code with it not doing as expected.

You will get a Delegation warning with this as the in Filter is not Delegable.

Invalid argument type. Table values ​​cannot be used in this context.

The issue is with complex field types in your data set and the restrictions they bring when you are trying to do things like this. I  never try to do this, so did not immediately see the issue. The below should work, but please try and understand the syntax.

@WarrenBelz Well, I cant simply get this to work, I dont understand how it can be this complex just to make "Last contact" Ascend instead of Descend in my original code.

Descend works perfect in my code but not ascend. Guess I have to come up with another idea.

I am confused, we have been working on everything else but the sort, which looking back you have not mentioned since your first post. There is no reason you cannot sort ascending instead of descending on the same piece of code, but you are trying it with a different filter which clearly is not working (it is nothing to do with the sort). Get rid of the sort for the moment - does this code produce data in the gallery?
