Show Photo in from SharePoint Hyperlink Column in PowerApps

I am new to PowerApps but I found a solution for my problem which I though might be useful for others.

The scenario was uploading a picture to a ShaPoint Library and and the link to a SharePoint List and then creating a form to show the list with the picture.

I could not update the SharePoint Picture Column using PowerApps or Workflow.

Thus I updated a HyperLink Column, but Hyperlink Columns could not be directly shown as image on PowerApps.

The solution I found is:

The link to Picture Column items are different from Hyperlink column items.

It is the combination of:

1. "appres://datasources/…/rows/"
2. ID
3. "/reference/https:%2F%2Fmsmanaged-na.azure-apim.net%2Fapim%2Fsharepointonline%..."
4. SharePoint site (….sharepoint.com)
5. "%25252fsites%25252f…Cloud%2F"
6. GetFileContentByPath%3Fpath=…
7. File Name

You can Show a Picture column in PowerApps as text and mimic the link

As I said I am a new user so please let me know if you have any comment or better solutions.

I just tested within a SharePoint list form control. I inserted an image control inside the Hyperlink data card, and set its Image property to the direct URL of image from SharePoint library. The picture won't show. But if I set the Image property to the URL of image from web, then the image shows as expected. 

So did you make sure that the image show correctly in Image control according to your steps? If so, would you please take a screenshot and explain more details about how did you achieve this?

Personally, I think the image of SharePoint library URL in Hyperlink list column won't be able to display in Image control. This is because that to be able to see the image, currect user need to have the proper permission on the Library too. That is a different data source for PowerApps. Yet I also tested to add the library data source to the same app, but still the image won't show.

If you got different result, please share here.

It seems that my findings is correct and the solution is fine for my purpose .

This solution does not work with IOS, I could not see the picture on IPad and IPhone.

Any suggestion?

Pretty sure this is the exact scenario I find myself in. I created a SharePoint document library to hold all profile/CRM portraits of clients and then added a column to the main client SP list that creates a relationship between the photo URL and the client record in the list.

converting thousand of photos in Sharepoint to uri for display would be a nightmare.....

No need to convert the photos. a coulmn should be created with the link. If there're thousands of photos a Flow can be prepared to fill up the column.

I am also a newbie. But I want to try the solution you shared. But I'm confused with the set of items you gave. 

How to combine all of those items?

Can you also help me convert the image to url? For example I have an image- and I want to show the url in another textbox on the same canvass?
