Flow launch panel doesn't load

Hello,

I have an instant flow which I trigger from a Sharepoint list when an item is selected. This flow is used by about 15 users and works very well for all users but one. When this user triggers the flow, the Flow launch panel opens and stays in a loading state forever instead of offering the usual run flow button...flow_lauch_panel.jpg

 Thanks for your help

We're having this issue with one user who is activating the flow through a JSON formatted button in a document library. My account had no issue with this. We tried logging the account into Power Automate, making her the flow owner, trying in incognito mode, and switching all flow connections to her account, even tried deleting them all and re-adding. For some weird reason, it works perfectly fine when I login with her account from a different computer in another office.

I have exactly the same problem with a JSON button. Randomly, this problem arises with an individual user and after a few days the problem is suddenly solved again. I tried several ways to solve it myself, but to no avail. Waiting a few days is the only solution to date.

My Steps to fix start flow window would not display

  • Closed all my browser windows,
  • started new session,
  • navigated to https://make.powrautomate.com
  • Logged in.
  • Edited my Flow
  • Saved went back to SharePoint list and selected my Flow from the context menu.
  • Flow window appeared as expected.

Hi all,

I got the same issue.

I did some testing, asking the end user to remove the Sharepoint connector within Power Automate, and trying to run it again - in this case the user could run it and then it stopped working. But with no success.

The only solution for this and another user who never got it to work was to run the flow using Chrome's Incognito mode.

I'm still trying to understand why it only works in incognito mode...

No, still not working, even cleaning all browsing history and all other suff. I also tried a different browser.

And the problem started to happen with me.

- There are 3 different flows I can run in the same Sharepoint list. The issue happens with all of them. The trigger is them same: For a selected item

This happens when I have the issue (using F12 - DevTools):

And this when I have no erros (using incognito mode):

I strongly believe it has something to do with MFA conflicts. Please let me know, if you are facing this issue, do you have MFA implemented in your company?

The issue stopped happening to me the next day.

Thank you.

Hi @MikeAP , Did your issue got resolved? I am having the same issue.

Same issue here. Got on teams with Automate support and sent them logs from browser. Waiting for them to come back to me.

Maybe general issue? Three people reported same issue same day 🙂

I've linked them to this and the other post about it. We were under the impression that it was because of the Sharepoint outage.

I came to know that Microsoft knows about this issue and is working on it. You should report this issue to your SharePoint / Power Platform support / admin team.

We're having the exact same problem. First reported by a user yesterday, but didn't recognize the extent of it until today. Every one of our flows that are triggered from a SharePoint list are stuck with the spinning circle. Clearing cache/cookies and/or using Incognito helps with the first flow to be triggered after, but then the problem comes back. Based on the number of people reporting it here today, I assume it's a Microsoft issue. Opened a ticket with them but haven't heard back.

I solved it by having users log in to Power Automate (make.powerautomate.com) and then the flow panel load.

It looks like not only SharePoint is affected but also other systems that interact with Flows e.g. D365, Business Central or Azure.

Unfortunately, didn't work for us.

Seems like more and more users in our organisation are running into the same problem.

Same issue on 3 tenants. If I clear all the cache, log on https://make.powerautomate.com, then start the flow, it works for ONE time, then fails again. If I go in incognito mode, it works ONE time then fails again. Network traffic is to the roof with hundreds of MB exchanged through retries until the browser fails too.

Yeah, this is exactly what we experience here. I'm based in North America.

Tuesday Tip: Subscriptions & Notifications

TUESDAY TIPS are our way of communicating helpful things we've learned or shared that have helped members of the Community. Whether you're just getting started or you're a seasoned pro, Tuesday Tips will help you know where to go, what to look for, and navigate your way through the ever-growing--and ever-changing--world of the Power Platform Community! The best way to make sure you know what's going on in the News & Announcements, to blogs you follow, or forums and galleries you're interested in is to subscribe! These subscriptions ensure you receive automated messages about the most recent posts and replies. Even better, there are multiple ways you can subscribe to content and boards in the community! (Please note: if you have created an AAD (Azure Active Directory) account you won't be able to receive e-mail notifications.)   Subscribing to a Category  When you're looking at the entire category, select from the Options drop down and choose Subscribe.     You can then choose to Subscribe to all of the boards or select only the boards you want to receive notifications. When you're satisfied with your choices, click Save.     Subscribing to a Topic You can also subscribe to a single topic by clicking Subscribe from the Options drop down menu, while you are viewing the topic or in the General board overview, respectively.     Subscribing to a Label Find the labels at the bottom left of a post. From a particular post with a label, click on the label to filter by that label. This opens a window containing a list of posts with the label you have selected. Click Subscribe.     Note: You can only subscribe to a label at the board level. If you subscribe to a label named 'Copilot' at board #1, it will not automatically subscribe you to an identically named label at board #2. You will have to subscribe twice, once at each board.   Bookmarks Just like you can subscribe to topics and categories, you can also bookmark topics and boards from the same menus! Simply go to the Topic Options drop down menu to bookmark a topic or the Options drop down to bookmark a board. The difference between subscribing and bookmarking is that subscriptions provide you with notifications, whereas bookmarks provide you a static way of easily accessing your favorite boards from the My subscriptions area.   Managing & Viewing Your Subscriptions & Bookmarks To manage your subscriptions, click on your avatar and select My subscriptions from the drop-down menu.     From the Subscriptions & Notifications tab, you can manage your subscriptions, including your e-mail subscription options, your bookmarks, your notification settings, and your email notification format.     You can see a list of all your subscriptions and bookmarks and choose which ones to delete, either individually or in bulk, by checking multiple boxes.     A Note on Following Friends on Mobile Adding someone as a friend or selecting Follow in the mobile view does not allow you to subscribe to their activity feed. You will merely be able to see your friends’ biography, other personal information, or online status, and send messages more quickly by choosing who to send the message to from a list, as opposed to having to search by username.
